Thank you again for all your help with my hips. I was 29 at the time of the hip replacements. Here about 9 months and 12 months out from my surgeries, I am feeling much better. I would not say I am 100% yet, but I am continually improving. I have no discomfort sitting, standing, or walking.
The only pain to speak of, is felt with flexed internal rotation of the joint. I have been able to begin to strengthen the legs again through resistance training. I feel like this has accelerated the stability and diminished the pain surrounding the joint.
If I never got any better from this point on, I am still happy and satisfied with my results. I do hope it will continue to improve in stability and range of motion slowly over the next year or so, which seems to be what is happening.
Most importantly, I can surf. I did not know if I would ever be able to surf again, and you and Dr. Gross have given that back to me, thank you so much!
I look forward to seeing you in the end of September.
Bilateral Biomet Uncemented Hip Resurfacing
Surfing was really important to Brian. That was the main reason he moved to Costa. This would not have happened if not for you two. You both cared so deeply about my son and me.
You work miracles. Thank you beyond words.
