Bailey Whalen, Surgery Scheduler
Bailey is our easily approachable Medical Assistant who works with Meredith in running Dr. Browning’s clinic. As Dr. Browning’s surgical scheduler, she’s all about making sure patients feel supported and comfortable, whether they’re getting ready for surgery or recovering afterward. With plenty of experience observing surgeries and in-office procedures with Dr. Browning, Bailey is always open to answering questions and helping you understand what’s ahead. She’s also efficient in coordinating telehealth appointments and virtual care for out-of-state and international patients, making it easy for them to stay connected with the care they need. What matters most—Bailey is a proud University of South Carolina graduate!

Meredith Witherell, Medical Assistant
Meredith is a medical assistant at Dr. Browning’s clinic, where she works closely with her teammate Bailey to support patient care and ensure smooth clinical operations. She graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Public Health, bringing a strong foundation in healthcare and a passion for helping others to her role. Meredith is known for her attention to detail, compassionate approach, and dedication to providing a positive experience for every patient she encounters.

Sherri Chamberlain, Office Assistant
Sherri is our office assistant, coordinating clinical follow up visits both locally and out of state, she is vital to our workflow and a major part of our team. She assists with follow up appointments and coordinates remote follow ups, metal ion tests, and assists with arranging follow up x-rays. She is knowledgeable regarding our protocols and extremely helpful with local as well as our out of state patients. Brittney Stewart, Clinical Assistant
Brittney is our clinical assistant and an essential part of our team. Her knowledge of protocols is stellar, serving as a resource for appointments and clinical questions. She works in the clinic with Dr. Gross and Lee Webb, DNP, FNP-C enhancing our workflow and arranges appointments for in state and out of state patients. Her knowledge of our protocols is fundamental to our team approach to patient care. Dani Gaillard-Campbell, MS
Dani is Dr. Gross' research director and helps promote awareness of his surgical success by analyzing his clinical outcomes. She has extensive knowledge of medical devices, biotech, and clinical research. She can answer any questions you may have about the design of your implant. Evelyn Washington, Administrative Secretary
Evelyn is Dr. Gross’ administrative secretary and has been with Midland’s Orthopaedics for many years, she is extremely helpful and knowledgeable regarding Dr. Gross’ routines. She receives the out of state patient information, logs it in, has a chart made and forwards to Dr. Gross for review. Her baking skills mirror her administrative skills which are outstanding. Crystal Spires, Medical Assistant
Crystal is our medical assistant and is an integral part of our team. She works in the clinic with Dr. Gross and Lee Webb, DNP, FNP-C and coordinates preoperative clearance and schedules surgery. She is very knowledgeable regarding pre- and post-operative questions. She works with each patient individually to schedule surgery and coordinate all details of surgery, pre-operative requirements, and medical clearances. She is fluent in pre- and post-operative instructions and is a valuable resource for patients. Lee Webb, DNP, FNP-C, ANP-C, APRN, CRNFA, Nurse Practitioner
Lee is Dr. Gross' surgical assistant and nurse practitioner; she has extensive orthopaedic experience which includes first assisting in the operating room. She assists Dr. Gross with all aspects of perioperative, surgical, and postoperative care. She sees patients with Dr. Gross in the office, preforming history and physical exams and makes rounds at the hospital. She is a wealth of knowledge and always available to answer any questions.
